About the event
Gentle Yoga series from 7-8pm on Tuesday evenings at the Community Center. Priska Bitterli, an SLI leaseholder and certified Ayurvedic Yoga Therapist, has generously offered to teach classes for free.
- For your first class, please arrive 15-20 minutes early to sign in and complete a waiver.
Please bring a yoga mat, blanket, and blocks if you have them. If you don't have a mat or blocks, don't worry - we have some extras available for you to use.
The classes are suitable for most everyone, with a focus on breath, ease in the pose or movement. Instructions adapt to the students attending. Strength and flexibility will build up over time and each class will end with a short meditation to calm the mind and nervous system.
